Fidel Guerrero was born in Camagüey, Cuba. At the age of eleven his whole family moved to Miami, Florida where he grew up and went to school there.  He became a Christian in 1973 and became a member of Westchester Christian Church.  In 1978 he became a pilot for American Airlines and moved to Chicago and to New York for a few years. When he came back to Miami in 1980 he rejoined Westchester Christian Church and was very involved in different church ministries. In June of 2005 he moved with all his family to Canton, Georgia to plant a new church, The Rock Woodstock. He was recognized as a pastor in the summer of 2006. At the end of 2007, after working for American Airlines for 30 years as a Captain, he retired early to become a full-time pastor. Fidel is married to Maria Elena and has 3 children, Elias, Cristina, and Natalie.
